HIBISCUS - Organic Loose Whole Flowers

Hibiscus flowers have high vitamin C as well as nutrients that lower blood pressure. In blind tests hibiscus flower tea worked just as well as prescription drugs in about 4 weeks for those with moderate to high blood pressure.

The fruit acids in the Hibiscus flower have proven to improve gut health, acts as a mild laxative decreasing spasms in the stomach whilst also having an antibiotic action that helps rid the intestine of worms and foreign bacteria. Other tests have revealed that Hibiscus has  the ability to reduce the absorption of alcohol and help with alcohol poisoning.

The flowers can be made into a delicious refreshing tea to be enjoyed both hot and cold.

Preparation: Pour freshly boiled water over one teaspoon of herbs in a cup. Let the tea sit for 5-10 minutes, strain herbs into a sieve and enjoy. Drink anytime up to twice a day.
